I am also writing an LOTR ficlet about Éomer and Éowyn, since the idea struck while I was out reading fics for them. Feb. 2nd, 2011 03:09 amGot my D/Hr Fic Assignment, and ngl I'm scared of it - scared in a 'no way am I going to pull this off, goddamnit' kind of way. Hnnnnnnnggg. Luck, I'll definitely need it for this round!
And speaking of needing luck, my mom and I will be trying our hand at selling homemade stuff - mostly soaps and detergents. I'm pumped for it! I will handle the actual making of soaps, which is crazily fun I have to admit, and my mom will be the one to sell it, as I have absolutely no selling skills at all, while she, on the other hand, can sell you your own liver. Try saying/reading that convoluted sentence a few times, I dare you :P But yeah, hopefully this will work so at least I could use my free time productively. Wish our new enterprise luck, flist! ♥

dmhgficexchange will be holding its last and final round of fic exchange early next year and I am just. Stunned. Because I can't believe that this, too, is coming to an end - and I have so much fond memories tied to this exchange. This exchange. You guys I just. I can't begin to explain how much I loved and looked forward to the reveals and the posting of fics I wrote and the fic/art made for me and the talented people who participated and how grateful I am to the mods who worked behind every round to make everything so fabulous and organized and amazing. The number of quality, memorable entries produced through this exchange is astounding. And yes, I'm joining this for old time's sake - and if you ship/shipped Draco/Hermione, you should too! ♥...and apparently because November is HP month:

...no, seriously, I'm realllly sorry for not being around lately. Having no internet sucks so hard :( I miss all of you!
This is weird, because I just found out that The Chronicles of Draco Malfoy has won First Runner-Up for Best Fluff at The Quibbler Awards!. I mean, WHAT???? Seriously? You guys are teh awesomest. THANK YOU!!!! I mean, wahhhhhh!!! Now I feel even more guilty for not updating it. Heh.
I just submitted my story last Friday. Nyahahhahaha. I really have to apologize to the mods and most of all, to my recipient, because my story just... if there's an award for WEIRDEST and STORY WITH NO RESOLUTION AT ALL, mine will win it. Hands down. Grrrrrr. I hate you, muse.
