1) Watched X-Files. I'm still undecided on whether or not I like it. Have you guys seen it? It has mixed reviews though, so maybe... it's just me?

2) Is it okay to be scared of my fic assignment for the latest round of DM/HG Fic Exchange? Hahaha. I was reading it and I was like, woah, hello intimidation! My recipient is someone I consider a legend in the fandom, so... yeah. Good luck to me. And to you too!

Mine was a poem, so I'm stuck to reading it over and over again. I do wish it was a song, though, because based from the poem, I'm pretty limited to what type of story I'll be making.

Am going to watch X-Files later today!! Am excited, even if I've heard it's basically just a longer run-of-the-mill-monster-of-the-week -- it's X-Files and me loves the X-Files. :P Once I've seen it, I shall tell you if it's me too.

I'm always scared, regardless of who the person I'm writing for is. Because it's written for someone and I know how easy it is to be disappointed that the story doesn't match the request a lot...

As for exchanges... this is the first time I'll be writing for someone I actually know, you know? Which for me sorta makes it more... I don't know. Difficult, I guess. Plus the request is the type that challenges me to the extreme, because, the way I interpret it, I can only go one direction - and it's going to be a cliche type, sadly. Unless I get really hit by inspiration, which will probably happen, oh, the day before submission ends :D

I wish you the best of luck. I don't know how much writing for someone I know would hinder me - I think if it's a story idea that's fairly clear in my head from when I get the assignment and start to think about it, I think it can only be good. Because if I know the person, I can add in some small tidbits I think she'll enjoy.

If I'm feeling blocked on the idea, that too can be a help, but frankly, mostly isn't - because there's a bit of added pressure if you know the person. Especially if you know them well...

Ooh, we wonder who that legend is. Honestly, you're a pretty big name in fandom too! Whoever's writing for you is probably stressing out as well. We mean, THE zarahjoyce? Lots of pressure, hehe. You're the author of Divine Humiliation, Abyss, and a whole lot of other angsty fics that are on loads of favorite lists. :)

Anyway, we know you'll come up with something really great. You always do, we love your fics. :D

We wrote for Floorcoaster last time, and she's one of our most favorite authors ever, so we felt loads of pressure... in the end, we knew it was just us pressuring ourselves. But we're quite happy with what we came up with. :D Pressure is good, hehe.

Anyway, how's Joaquin? How many months old is he already? Time flies, hehe.

Hey! I miss you guys, too :D I'll be going home in a few weeks - and I don't want to, yet! Hahahaha I've grown too attached to a worry-free life here in the States :P

I sure wish I could meet the request this time. It's really challenging! I hope I can find the inspiration to write for it, hehehe.

Joaquin's really chubby now, hehe. But he has rashes on his face, and I pity him every time he itches :( I hope we can cure it! Anything you guys can rec?

Hm, rashes... it depends what's causing it. It might be an allergy or something... or something else. Well, it's not a diaper rash. Hehehe. :)

Nope, it's not. The rash is more like eczema (or however you spell it). It's on his face and legs and arms and stomach. It's pretty much everywhere on his fat, tiny body :(

Hmm... Maybe he should see a doctor. It could be an allergy... We're not baby experts, or skin experts, hehe. It might be contact dermatitis or something...? Anyway, it would be best to consult a doctor, hehe.

Poor Joaquin... do you think it's itchy or something? :( We suppose it's not chicken pox, but we remember learning about other erm, viral infections that resulted in rashes.

Yep, it's itchy... it's not chicken pox though, because he didn't have fever, thank God.

Anyway, they're going to visit the doctor tomorrow, so hopefully he'll get better.
