1. Ugh, Gokaiger. Blue/Pink DNW :( And Luka's pose is seriously mucking up my perception of Yellow Owl, Yellow Turbo and Yellow Four, AND SO MANY OTHER YELLOWS. Heh.

2. My notifs are like. Not coming at all. For everything ever! And it's annoying because I have everything separated in folders and all sporadic notifs from LJ aren't even going to their appropriate folders. Ugh, what.

3. My first post at ATP and I already coded it wrongly sob! Seriously guys, if you have an LoTR character - app him/her at dramadramaduck. I beg you! More castmates = more awesome. Same goes for Super Sentai because... well, for pretty much the same reason :P

4. I am considering dropping CFUD :( Ughh, I hate this feeling. I have the best castmates in the world and yet I am utterly failing at the old man. Sorry, guys T__________T

Does this mean I can hope for fics with Kouichirou/Chisato in the future? +_+ It's a shame that Kouichirou's actor has retired from acting, I'd have loved to see this pairing show up in Gokai T_T

Hm. Marvelous/Ahim sounds like fun. If they go that route, I'll give my blessings, LOL. Ahim/Don does sound cute, too, but that one I'll have to see a bit more before deciding how I'd want to ship them :P And even if I'm not officially shipping just yet, WORD on Joe/Luka. That can be quite appealing, indeed. We'll see how it goes. We're just getting into the fifth episode, after all.

YES! Why couldn't they bring Hayashi to reprise Hoji? T_T Guess I can only hope that should anything be mentioned, it won't have to do with making my ship a doomed case. I WON'T BE HAPPY IF THEY SINK MY OTP!

I'm quite partial to Deka because it is the season that brought me back to the Sentai world, and has some of my favorite characters and pairings. But I guess I can understand why people wouldn't necessarily be fond of this show. It was a rather unique-ish story, lacking the usual plot and instead bearing the look of a procedural drama, with a-case-per-episode stories (the MOTW) with an overall case (Agent Abrera) that runs through the season.

You liking Hoji/Jasmine always makes me quite happy. It was because of this pairing that you approached me (I was already a fan of your work at the time... Imagine how flattered I was when you posted a comment <3), after all.

Great thing about characters not dying is that so many possibilities exist! People may not have validated a ship, but at least they didn't disprove it either. /words of an eternal non-canon shipper ahoy!

That's my feeling towards Boukenger, actually! But unlike you I can be quite unforgiving of those who didn't appreciate it :P I didn't know that seasons of sentai existed beyond the ones shown here, so I was really, really shocked to find out they do. Geki/Go-On didn't appeal to me at all, so I took the time to find out about other seasons, which was how I was able to watch the others :D

Oh, I remember this one. It's one of those writings I like to call a rare gem :D I totally could see Shun secretly liking Chisato (I mean, I don't recall indications of him liking Miku, so... I'm allowed to let my imagination run wild, no? :P). Poor Shun. But it still makes me happy that Kouichirou would ask Chisato out. Yeah, I'm horrible.

WORD. And even if we can let our imagination run wild with the non-canon, it's always nice to have canon to back it up. And by that, I don't mean just canon evidence that validates a ship, but the canon "evidence" that comes by not disproving stuff. Because while we do have fanfics to make us happy, the canon will always bring some sort of influence on fanworks in the future. (not sure if I'm even making sense...) And I'm glad that you're on the non-canon shipper boat. Otherwise that'd mean one less Sky/Z and Draco/Hermione writer! (wow... I AM quite horrible)

Boukenger was fun for me. It was loaded with humor, and it has one of my favorite Pink senshi (Sakura). It's not exactly my all-time favorite season, but still an enjoyable one.

LOL, I remember how we met because I really WAS flattered. You had commented on my manifesto on Hoji/Jasmine. I knew your penname because I used to be an avid hunter for Sky/Z fics at that time, so imagine what a pleasant surprise I had when I saw your name in my inbox :)

Very true! So many times I'd find a pairing I like, only to learn that fanwork about them is hard to find. The bright side was that much to my luck, when I did find, they were usually a fun, fun read. So when I'd find them, I'd save links or even print them, LOL.

Oh, right here ♥ (http://community.livejournal.com/ship_manifesto/179801.html) Hahahaha, I remember how I wanted to write about them but gave up the first time because it was too challenging and there was little fanwork available. But f-list encouraged me to give it a shot, and some even wrote fic just for the sake of the manifesto. So I had to try ;)

No problem! Fwiw, there are other sentai manifestos there. There's Hikaru/Urara, Akashi/Sakura, and Sen/Umeko for het sentai pairings. There are also Mariko's manifestos for Ban/Hoji (Dekaranger) and Domon/Sion (Timeranger). As far as I know, she was the first person to write a manifesto for Sentai, so in a sense, she had a huge part in giving the inspiration for more Sentai manifestos to come :)

And there are other lovely pairings out there... *hint hint*

Hehe, it does take some work, but I have to admit that it IS fun. It's a different kind of writing, and it can be an interesting field to delve into ;)
