...also! Goukaiger, aka 2011 series. I read a description of one of their items that goes like this:

Ranger Keys:

-Small figures of each of the past reds, and also of all 5 Goukaiger used for transformation.By folding at the back, the figure becomes a key. Using the keys, there are about 190 sounds the Mobirates can make. Red seems to come with the Mobirates, Blue and Yellow seem to come with the belt, Green comes with the GoukaiGun, and Pink comes with the GoukaiSword. There is a legendary 5 set, including 5 Red Ranger Keys, and the MagiRed key will come with MagiDragon.

I might be thinking too much on this, but does this mean Blue and Yellow are related somewhat? Given that the rangers have different sources of Ranger keys and theirs come from the same place. Idek.

Goukaiger looks pretty intriguing so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they will come up with. And if Blue and Yellow are related, I guess I won't have to worry about whether or not I'll end up shipping them or something. Because for crying out loud, even if my shipping shifts to a different pairing, I seem to have a soft spot for Blue/Yellow.

dear_mun is interacting with characters whose canons you don't know. Just have Hyde answer "Do I know you?" or something to that effect and you'd be fine, since Hyde really doesn't know who that character's supposed to be :D

Also I really laughed so much when I spotted Hyde-as-Nanami. And his pose is just so precious :D

As for shipping preferences, I do ship my Yellow women with... pretty much who they're closest with? Although I did ship Jasmine/Hoji (and consequently Sky/Z) and Ryuunosuke/Kotoha before Shinkenger premiered :D

I'll keep that in mind :) Interacting in RP always scares me to no end. And when it involves people I don't know at all, it only scares me further, hehehe...

I think it's a moment when Kento proved that he likes cosplay :P Apparently he had said so in an interview.

Jasmine/Hoji are my all-time favorite OTP. Their dynamic is very different from that of Sky/Z - a type of interaction that I love in a pairing - but it works perfectly (though I admit that Sky/Z played a part in me paying attention to the Sentai counterpart).

As for Ryuu/Kotoha, that was one pairing that didn't catch my attention at all; it's probably because at the time I was about to stop watching Sentai for a while (RL stuff). And by the time I heard of it again, I was already sold by Takeru/Kotoha (which by the way, is your "fault", LOL).

No, don't be! It's fun that way. At least you'll be testing on how Hyde will answer people like that? A test of your grasp of the character, if you will.

I admit I never really did watch Dekaranger as avidly as I did later shows, though I did watch the Jasmine-focus eps and I have the lone Jasmine/Hoji focus ep saved on my laptop (which I'm currently watching right now.) Dekaranger just didn't grab me as well as PR:SPD did, and I kinda like Z better than Jasmine since I'm a sucker for sassy, spunky Yellows (hi Moune).

...and to be fair, I only shipped Ryuu/Kotoha because I thought he'll be a cool blue :P

LOL, it's cool. Jasmine is my favorite Yellow, but like you, I usally like spunky Yellows myself, which explains why Moune is a very close runner-up. As for Z, what doesn't sit well with me about her is that... THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN HER MORE FOCUS EPISODES, GRRRRRR!

Hahaha, if he had been, who knows I might have shipped them too once I watched it :) It usually takes getting into the episodes before we officially ship; that's how I got to officially ship Masumi/Natsuki (I had a soft spot for Souta/Natsuki at first), for instance.

Ugh, yes. I never really understood why PR only has 31 or so eps so naturally a lot of non-Red episodes are cut out :( ALSO I... have a

Ah! I got into watching Boukenger a few eps after it officially started, but I think I already shipped Masumi/Natsuki then, hehe. I do like Natsuki/Akashi a bit over Natsuki/Souta, but... it's probably the first show that had me shipping a lot of ships and not just one :D

Ooh, you RP for PR, too? I sort of very briefly RP-ed Trini once. She was my favorite PR Yellow.

Shipping pairings in Sentai is so much fun! It's a plus if it happens in canon, and I can only hope to see more happen here and there. Just because it's a kid's show hasn't stopped Toei before, so why should they, now? Bouken had great shipping moments, and unofficial pairings also had awesome moments. But no Akashi/Sakura for me, please -_-

Well... mostly. I use her to troll PR characters, but since there hasn't been a lot of those lately she's been a bit dormant. Plus I kinda forgot how to play her since I haven't seen SPD for so long :(

I was actually thinking about shipping in Sentai last night. Like... have you seen Maskman or Jetman? The romance in those two are really heavily emphasized throughout the series, which is something we rarely get nowadays. I was thinking when was the last time we got semi couple-focused sentai - which was of course Magiranger and Gekiranger. Nowadays we only get teases, which is not enough for me :(

LOL, troll? How? ^^; I miss SPD. I remember how I was interested in Sky first, but in the end, it was Bridge who completely had me. He grew on me, fast, and soon enough, I was sold.

Oh, I love Maskman! I had such a soft spot for Takeru/Haruka, even though I knew canon was Takeru/Ial. I'm hesitant to see Jetman because I know how it ends for one of the characters T_T Magi and Geki have given me two awesome canon pairings. And I totally agree with you, TEASING IS NOT ENOUGH AND I WANT TO SEE MORE CANON, DARN IT!

Ah... at first I didn't have any opinion about them. I think it was much later that I decided that I didn't like it. It was a particular episode where Sakura panics over something Akashi was about to do, and she cries after him, with everyone holding onto her. I love Sakura, and when seeing her express her emotion like that, when Akashi is so oblivious... It felt like her love was hitting against a wall. And that somehow put me off. I think I sort of wished Sakura would be more honest about her feelings. Sure, everyone but Akashi knows, but it's different when you make yourself clear. And by then, I was pretty closed-minded about it so... it was over.
