Ugh. So freakin' tired. Just finished doing the laundry mostly by hand (which is how we do laundry here in the Philippines) and then I'll be mopping floors and vacuuming like a mad woman all over the house. This is because my mom and brother are on their way home from the States! We all thought they'd be staying until early next year, but a change of plans meant they won't be any more. Which is fantastic, because it means I won't be spending my birthday, Christmas, and New Year with only my dad for company. Woohoo!

Please please please have a safe trip, Mom and Kuya!

That's great - that they're coming home, not the cleaning. I hope that whatever it was that changed their plans weren't of a bad kind of nature.

And good for you on doing so much cleaning!

OHGOD Ree. I always, always hate cleaning but today I found myself attacking even the smallest furniture with my little toothbrush and basin of soapy water. Needless to say I am done cleaning and thus, so tired :(

The bad news is that their flight arrives at 5 AM so we have to leave the house at 4, which means I have to wake up at 3 :(

Wow! That is dedication to the cause! I'm cleaning too, but it's more of an cleaning out than cleaning up (though I will try and do that later as well, at least vacuum the floor) but wow, that's just insane! No wonder you're tired.

Ah, that's not a good time to wake up (but sometimes fun to still be awake). I hope you won't oversleep/their plane is late for several hours.

Also, I was going to PM you, but my computer is being idiotic, so I hope you don't mind me doing it here; I have my Holiday Drabble Post up, if you could take a look and request something/let me know if you don't want one (which I hope isn't the case!).

I have these weird bouts of complete and utter focus which attack at completely inappropriate times :D

Oooh! I shall take a look at that later, when my brain isn't dead :D I love drabbles!

I get like that sometimes too, when I just want to fix and clean everything! I like it though, if I have the time to sort it all out.

Great. :)

I usually get like that when I do something that isn't a task forced upon me :D

Oh man me too! I was even over the top about it when I was younger, like, I could be in the middle of cleaning or throwing stuff out or whatever, and my mom could be walking by/coming home from work and just comment on the fact that I was cleaning, even just saying 'oh good, you're cleaning' and I would just stop.

The worst was if I was about to clean, like I'd planned on doing that that particular day/the day after (I like to plan things so I can get used to the idea) and she'd "suggest" I clean and then the will and want to do that would just go away, just because I didn't want her to think that I was cleaning because she told me to!

...are you me? Because that's exactly how I am. It's like I wanted to show her that yes, I'm capable of acting on my own thanks a freakin' lot.
