I'm re-watching Season Three's Birthday right now, and Angel's lines, when talking to the Conduit, just struck me as somewhat prophetic:

Angel: She's unconscious, and alone. Who knows if she's in pain.

...lo and behold, this was exactly how Cordy died in Season Five. Weird.

ALSO, this site offers wonderful reviews to Angel episodes. I especially loved how Birthday was reviewed twice; one as a stand-alone and the other with respect to the events of Season Four. I highly recommend it!

You think that's prophetic. I can't watch School Hard without thinking how the first five minutes of Spike's appearance pretty much describe his entire story arc. Think about it, he's all big and bad and vampirey, comes in all badass and scary, then a pretty woman comes in, and he suddenly becomes more human and caring and sweet. Considering what I know about Spike and how his story developed, I know it's not intentionally Spike's existence condensed into a few minutes, but even so.

This is what happens when you rewatch a million times. You notice stuff.

...wow. I didn't even know about any of that!

Indeed! Especially the million and one goofs that happen almost every scene. Missing props, vamps ~reflecting, the works. It's amusing and annoying at the same time.

And then you can't stop noticing them! That part is way more annoying than amusing.

Haha yes. It sometimes feels like the magic of the show is just gone.

It's a nice site which I don't think I've ever seen before, but I'm not fond of his opinions since he (I think it's a he) is obviously not a fan of any romance between Cordy and Angel. Plus, I think he gives far too much credit to ME in attaching some grand plan to the Jasmine arc when they had no plan at all there and only retcon things to fit. So, Birthday only changes in intent IF you believe Jasmine was intended to happen since S3 and since we know she was a last minute idea, I don't buy it. But, that's just me. :)

Hmm, that's one of the things I did notice, but I've always been a masochist when it comes to reading reviews that I brave through them even if they're not C/A friendly XD Also, yeah, Jasmine was last minute, but... I don't know. It's just refreshing to see Birthday in a different light, I guess.
