GADAMIT - INTERNET FAIL

I'm spending waaaaaaaay too much time reading Angel fics lately. It feels so good to read fics again!

But that's not the problem.

The problem is that - I scour the internet, and basically it's like this:

Story: Has a really cool summary. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOhh.
Me: *clicks*
Internet: THIS PAGE DOES NOT EXIST HAHAHA YOU SUCK
Me: *keyboard smash*

DAMMIT!

Fic reading is awesome, but stories with a great summary but no actual story behind it/you can't read it/it's bad? Not good. Such a disappointment.

Exactly! It's so weird because half the time the reason the page isn't there is because the domain itself isn't. UGH. Which is, you know, actually understandable since most of the fics I saw were written in like 2002.

Oh, never heard of it before. I'm quite happy with my current layout for the moment, but I'll probably check it out for when I'm ready to trade it in for something new. :) Thanks for the rec.

Oh! And you should be. I love yours! Simple and elegant, and I think I was gunning for that before I settled down with this one. Where did you get it?

Thanks. :) I'm really happy with it. It took me forever to figure out how to use it, 'cause the code was a bit old and they'd redone the system since it was made, but finally it worked. :P

I got it from street_of_mercy. I got another layout off there (except now I think it wasn't off there... 'cause I tried looking for it, to show you, but I can't find it) before I settle on this one, that I really loved but it wouldn't work with the coding and the ads and yeah, unfortunately I had to get rid of it. Very unhappy, till I found my current. :P But the banner for it? Really beautiful. All swirly and stuff. She's got a bunch of great layouts -- for when you're bored with this one! :P

UGH. The ads :( I am so annoyed by the ads that I have. Do you have paid/sponsored? Because apparently if you have those, you won't see the ads of half-naked women currently plaguing my lj.

I used to have basic, so I wouldn't have to deal with the ads on my own lj at least, but the lack of icons was getting to me, so now I'm suffering through plus.

YES! It's so annoying :(
