So we start the episode with Takeru's customary "WTF is up with you Jii?" look.




Then we learn about Mako's nefarious scheme. She is cooking. Death surely awaits them now!!! And Ryuunosuke, having barely survived his ordeal, is understandably traumatized.


Meet Mako's number one fan: Hanaori Kotoha.



And we learn why she is a fan, because Mako comforted her when she was missing her sister. I swear, Rin's so pretty here!

I don't understand Mako's getup at all. If someone I know wears this, I swear I'll laugh. But somehow she pulls it off nicely.

Until he eats something that's a certified Mako-recipe and he dies. The Shinkengers, then, will have to find a new Tono-sama to serve, or accept cancellation of the series. The End!

Well this was a funny episode! Funny and insightful, even. But damn that is one effective way of making the Sanzu River rise! How... frighteningly effective, hehehe.

i finally figured out the combined kanji

pink does "kaze" = wind (in chinese "fung")
yellow does "yama" = mountain/peak (in chinese "tai")

and the final character they made was "arashi" = typhoon/storm = "tai-fung"

likes takeru's panicking on eating mako's food. ryuu's even more traumatized than ever.

and ryuu, on cue and as usual, never fails to bring the lulz in this episode. AND THE NEXT!!!

and also, i, again, had the urge to scream rape (the only thing holding me back was that my father is at home, lest he wonders what in blazes am i watching) when those red spandexed people are "raping" takeru and the others.

we really need to have a takeru/mako focus episode which concerns kids. kids make a takeru with more emotion.

and i've never seen someone panic that much when someone is cooking to the point that they are preparing their guts for the said event.

then again, when you work for it, everything tastes fine.

Yes to the Takeru/Mako! It's so odd, though I like them, I do like Takeru/Kotoha too. Annnd to make the long story short possibly the only het pair I don't ship is Mako/Chiaki. Heh.
