Summary-

The Gedoushuu are capturing brides during the middle of their weddings. Takeru and the other disguise themselves as a bridal party to stop the plot, but Mako ends up getting captured, and learns where the Gedoushuu are taking the brides...

ETA: Also, yesterday I bought an audio plus booklet on how to learn Japanese. Yay!

It's right on the tip of my tongue. I want to say Go-OnSilver, but I don't think that's who I'm thinking of at all. I don't think it is Mako or Kotoha.

Edit: Although the more I look at it, the more it does look like a done-up Mako...

I wonder what will come out of this. Usually we don't know. I mean, in Abaranger, Ranru and Asuka posed a marriage, but later it's revealed that Asuka was both in love and engaged to Mahoro, so, anything of that fell apart. Although in an alternate dimension, Ranru and Asuka both dreamed that they were engaged even when Mahoro was in the dream. It's funny because in the dream, Asuka "remembered" who Mahoro was and was like, "NO DON'T GET MAD I'M NOT CHEATING ON YOU" to Ranru.

Then we have Urara and Hikaru, who do actually get married in the church.

I'm also thinking of the Jetman plot where Gai and Ako have to pose to get married to lure a monster feeding on love or something. What a plot.

But!!! I think it'll be an interesting episode - and what will Ryunosuke's reaction be? I can't wait!

You know, it occurred to me how awesome it would be if this were similar to the plot in Kabuto, where the pretend bride and groom actually ended up sniping at each other the entire time from annoyance at having to do the wedding to begin with. I know it'll never happen, unless Chiaki suddenly walks in wearing a dress, but oh well.

Thank you! I'll be flying to US again on Saturday, so hopefully that, too, will be a safe journey for me. And I'm excited to learn Japanese, hehehe. Do you want to learn it, too? I have tons of studying materials but I never took it seriously. This time I hope it'll progress for real!

How long will you be there for? I hope that you have a very safe flight and trip.

Yes. I think it looks beautiful and sounds very interesting and it's just one of those things I would love to be able to learn, if only a little you know? But, I need time, which I don't have right now. I would also love to be able to learn at least a few Chinese signs.

:P Right now I'm focused on learning Spanish. Japanese is just one of those 'I would like to learn some time' languages, sadly rather low right now on my list of priorities. Best of luck to you though, and if you find something online that helps you a lot in the learning, I for sure wouldn't mind a link. :)

As happy as I am to see another wedding in Sentai (even if it is staged), I can't help but be excited. Although I'm sure Ryuunosuke would have liked to be the groom since he has such an obvious crush on Mako. But if it's Takeru getting married, is it bad if I'd rather see Kotoha up there?

I swear to god, this show is giving so many mixed signals when it comes to pairing, feels like a new one in each show. Of course, they can only pair up the core 5 so many ways, but then the extra rangers complicate everything. That said, so far my ships are firmly Takeru/Kotoha & Ryuunosuke/Mako.

You're not alone! At first I was sad because I wanted Kotoha to be there but seconds later I perked up because it's Mako and I just wrote a sappy story for them. Hahaha!

YES with the mixed signals. I'm confused, too. I think I ship every het pairing there is in this one (except Mako/Chiaki, I think).

That said, so far my ships are firmly Takeru/Kotoha & Ryuunosuke/Mako.

Aww! We're the same, although I have a soft spot for my previously number one ship Ryuu/Kotoha and Takeru/Mako. Then there's Kotoha/Chiaki. Uggh. They're playing us, aren't they?

That does work out, it's almost like you predicted it would happen. Maybe you can write a story for Takeru & Kotoha, and we'll get some good evidence for them in the next episode.

I think the only het ones I don't ship so far is Kotoha/Ryuunosuke, Kotoha/Chiaki (I see this one as more brother/sister) and Mako/Chikai. But yes, it seems like almost every week we get something different.

They are playing us, trying to get us to care about everything. I say the only situation is an OT5! *nods head*

Abilities/Weaknesses: After the events in 'Time Bomb', Illyria's abilities are greatly lessened to allow her to live, as her clinging to her powers (creating portals, selectively altering time and communicating with plants) will eventually kill her and everyone around her. She is still strong - her strength well above those of vampires and demons, as she is able to take on the enemies given to her by Angel with relative ease, and can shatter her enemy's skull without much effort.

She also has the ability to change her appearance and adapt Fred's looks and mannerisms, as it is only "a simple modulation" of her form and because she 'appears as she chooses'. It has not been established that she can alter her appearance to that of another human's. Illyria can distinguish humans from vampires and demons, and her empathic abilities extend to her being able to sense the emotions of those around her.

She is skilled in hand-to-hand combat and is formidable in battle; however, it is shown that she can, in fact, be beaten - as evidenced by her bloodied state when Hamilton took Drogyn by force. She is no longer invulnerable, despite her shell acting more like an armor instead of skin. Later events in 'After the Fall' will show that her power to alter time will return to her, bit by bit, but she is not in complete control of it.
