Charmed

Am watching an ep from the second season of Charmed and I gotta say, I'm rediscovering what I loved about this show. Seasons with Prue were the best, in my opinion. I mean those were the times when ideas weren't recycled, the show wasn't about cleavage that much, and it wasn't all about loooooooooooove and whatnot, PLUS Phoebe was adorable there (unlike the latter seasons where I just wanted to smack her). And Dan. Dan Gordon. I adore you, I really do. I must admit, I kinda began hating Piper after what she did to poor, innocent, damn-hot Dan *sigh*

I ♥ Charmed. It was the first show I ever fangirled over. And I agree with you about the Prue seasons being the best. The only other season as a whole that I liked, was season six and that was only 'cause of Chris.

I also enjoyed the season seven finale, which I thought was the series finale which would've been much much better than bringing the show back for an eight season. 'Cause as much as Paige annoyed me, nothing - nothing - compares to how much Billie annoyed me. And Christie or what her name was. But Billie? I just wanted to stab her, repeatedly many many times.

The only good thing about the season seven finale not being the end of the show, was that the house hadn't been blown up - if it had, then it would've been perfect. And I did like seeing the happy future and the returning of every family character but Prue in the finale...

But anyway. Back to your post. (Sorry for the ramble, I've just been able to share my love for Charmed with anyone, like, ever.) I liked Dan a bit, but I always thought he was a bit much. Too perfect. Too much 'I'm not going to stay' I thought. Also, I love Leo. Leo is just awesome. :P

Oh man, now you're making me want to watch season three again. Like, the Halloween episode. Wasn't that just the best? And admit it, as much as you adore Dan, you were totally sad over Piper and Leo's first wedding, weren't you?

Ahem, sorry again. Will now stop rambling.

OMG I was over the top over Piper/Leo. I wrote a ton of fics about them! Granted they were mushy and pathetic and full of OMG I LOVE YOU moments that makes me cringe now but... heh. I was totally supportive of the whole forbidden love thing :D

Paige was annoying, wasn't she? Hahaha. I always thought she had the best powers, and she was the newest! So not fair. And YES about the whole Billie thing. I mean, COME ON. Suddenly the Charmed Ones weren't even the strongest anymore. I absolutely HATED the last season. You're right, they should've settled ending it at the seventh season- it was a great fantabulous way of ending the series all about sacrifices!

And yes, reflecting on Dan a bit made me think he was too sugary perfect. But he was hoooot! You have to admit it! And he was so sweet on Piper, too.

Dude, rant away! I love Charmed, I really do, but I wish they just extended Angel instead of this one. NOT RELATED, I know :D

Ooh! I just remembered another reason I love Charmed - almost all my fandoms' characters actually guessed in this one. Like Charisma, Zankou (Oded), that guy from The Lost World, Brennan from Mutant X (Coop)... it was great!

It really was. And I love how they were free and how Morris saw them leave and it was just perfect. I even wrote about it in my lj and how sad I was but how perfectly ended it was. And then, bam! no end. And I was happy when I heard, 'cause I figured hey, more Charmed can only be a good thing, but it wasn't. The only good that came out of it was the husbands. And even that I could've lived without for the sake of not having to watch Billie.

I just hate her voice. So much. I always have, back when she was on that 8 Rules show, which I watched a few times. Ugh.

And yes, Paige. God. I really hated her the most with dark hair - because it looked so fake and like they were trying to make her look like the sisters too much. Also, her voice. Annoying. And her facial expressions. God.

He was kinda hot. And I think he was good for Piper at the time. But I'm glad he didn't last long.

Hahah. Yes. Charmed had some great extras (I particularly enjoyed Charisma's role. She was so cute, wanting to be human.) And Coop was awesome. The only good thing that came out of Season Eight. Well, that and the final battle with the boys and the Grams and Penny coming back. That was nice. It would've been much much better if Billie had died also though.

Hehe.
