Prince Caspian
You guys! Have you watched Prince Caspian? Tell me what cha think!
And let me just say, Two Towers WTF. Fighting trees! But it fits, seeing as Aslan doesn't have any more creatures to call out. All the time I was like who are you going to call, there's no one left! But the trees answered! Woot!
Poor horses. That is one thing I hate about war movies - those horses are innocents in this! They were just made to do what they did! SPARE THEM! SPARE THE HORSE OF THAT TRAITOR LORD, CREEPY WATER PERSON!
Awww Reepicheep. You're such a cute mouse, yes you are. I love that mouse and what they did to the cat! And Trumpkin. And that minotaur who held up the gate. And that minotaur who attacked King Miraz. I love you all.
Most disturbing scene would be the one at the gate, with all the Narnians cut off from Peter. That was just... geez. One of them even crawled up the gate as the door was being raised *cries* I'm telling you, that one will haunt me for days.
All in all? It was definitely darker than the first movie. I'm not sure if it's better or worse than the last one; but one thing is for sure: I watched the first movie two times inside cinemas, but I doubt I'll do that again for this installment.
(But Ben Barnes was hooooooot!)
Side note: YES, I'm a Susan/Peter shipper, and yay for their moments!

I liked the movie, it was definitely a whole lot darker than the first one. Totally loved Ben Barnes! I couldn't have asked for a hotter Prince Caspian. =D
...And I think I have to wait for the DVD to come out for me to know which is better since I purchased a copy of the first one, and everytime I don't have anything to do, I watch it and the thrills I felt when I first watched it keep coming back (especially the part when Peter screams out, "For Narnia and for Aslan!"). If the Caspian DVD will just sit atop my collection of DVDs, then it'll mean the first one's better. =D

Ohhh! I should've bought the DVD when it was on sale, darned it! But I find myself waiting for the film to be shown on cable every time. I looove the bit at the end, when they were all grown up. Old!Edmund was hawt *squee*
You know, it's weird, I mean the war in the first movie was really justified. This time, though, the first attack was really unnecessary, in my opinion. Movie-wise, it's great, with all the tension and the drama. Battle-wise, it was a good tactic, because at least they were able to gauge the enemies' capabilities and all that. But that battle left a very bitter taste in my mouth. The youngsters are going to have nightmares for weeks!
