Nature's fury

The weather yesterday was just... phenomenal. The wind was virtually howling, and from the window I saw several roof pieces and clothes flying. The rain wasn't so much a threat, but what made the weather worse was that the accompanying wind was just... insane. Today, on my way to work I found lots and lots of wrecked trees and billboards and broken windows on the road. That was just a testament to yesterday's prowess. I don't think I've witnessed anything that would equal or surpass what I saw yesterday...

I heard from the news that the glass window in Manila Doctor's Hospital broke and sprayed glass bits over the newborns in the infancy (?) ward. That's just... sad. And horrifying. I hope the babies are okay...
