Thank you very much for your prayers!!! I'm ecstatic to say that Joaquin James Tuazon was born last night at 11:02 pm. My older sister had relatively few problems during delivery... thank the Lord!
My nephew's the picture of perfect health :) Really alert and really perfect! He's got really red lips as though they've been painted :D I'll post pictures of him when I get my hands on them.
Sorry, first-time aunt can't stop gushing about her favorite nephew. Haha!

It's great to hear that he's in perfect health. We were born prematurely, and we had loads of problems. Couldn't leave the hospital for weeks, and then we had to go back for an operation later on. Anyway, we're really happy to hear that Joaquin James and your sister are doing great.
Out of curiosity...normal delivery? Were you allowed to be present for it?

Joaquin's been called exceptional by the doctors because he was born knowing how to suck already. The doctors said babies his age had to go on a special feeding program because they couldn't suck yet. My nephew's a genius! Hahaha.

Yeah, for Bish our mom went to have a check-up, was told that her blood cholesterol was way high (she had just finished a bag of chicharon practically on her own) so they wanted to admit her to hospital for observation. The next morning, when she was getting ready to leave the hospital, her water broke. Hehe. So Bish was born...wait...do Joaquin and Bish have the same birthday? that's cool :)
We were almost 2 months premature, and we had cleft palates. Our palates hadn't yet closed properly when we were born, so any milk we drank would come out of our noses. Don't think we knew how to suck yet, hehe. And we were super super tiny. Like, they had to cut our diapers in half, and we wore dolls clothes. THe operation was to close our palates. We're lucky we didn't grow up to have speech defects, hehe. Oh, and we're lucky to be alive. hahaha. :)
Your nephew is a genius because his aunt is. Hahaha! Don't tell his mother! hehe :)
Does any of it inspire you at all to write a fic? hehe. You haven't written anything in ages...

I know! I'm agonizing over that fact. I have, like 100 words written for TCoDM chapter 10 but I'm not yet sure what plot I'd have for that. I'm also dabbling on lots of other fandoms so I can't focus much because there're a lot of other characters in my mind, hehe. Plus! My cute nephew! Great distraction :P

Yeah, thank God we're alive and healthy, hehe. We even got overdosed with folic acid when we were babies- pharmacist error. Probably why we grew up to be pharmacists, haha.
What other fandoms are you into now? We've been doing a lot of reading since we finished the boards...we're reading the Stephenie Meyer books, and we've read Kite Runner, Atonement, Remember Me, and the newest Eoin Colfer. It's great to have time to read again! hehe.
When Joaquin goes home with you guys, and wakes you up in the middle of the night, that'll be even more of a distraction, hehe. Or is he already home? :)
