Translated into another language!
I'm very, very pleased right now. I just found out the The Chronicles of Draco Malfoy has been translated into another language... although, in my ignorance, I do not know what language this is. Can someone help me out? Link is:

Whoever rewrote my story... thanks! I'm deeply flattered!
BTW... STILL DEAD. Deader than dead, which is saying something. Muse you are such a little tease!

Still, apart from prodding your comatose Muse with a stick, how are you doing? :)

Um... doing pretty well, actually. I don't think I have a life outside of writing and work... sad, noh? Heheh. Anyways, I'd be better if only I could get a decent plot for the exchange... my extended deadline is coming up, yet I still have nothing!!!! *cries*

It's an anonymous exchange, people won't know that your fic is better than ours! hehe...
Wahh...now we feel bad... *cries with you*
Although, oh yeah, congrats on your fic being translated! You're so amazing, you have nothing to worry about for this fic exchange! Unless you're feeling pressured, hehe.
Didn't the person ask permission first and tell you what language it would be translated into, though?

About translation.
(Anonymous) 2007-11-30 07:51 am (UTC)(link)As one of assistant helpers of Kurbijkurne.lv, i can only say, that we have a policy for the translators to ask the authors about permission to translate the story before translation, and always include both links to the original work, and how to contact the author with. Hope you agree with the continuation of the said translation?
The site Kurbijkurne.lv is in latvian, and is a place where to meet online the fans who like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings in particular, and fantasy and sci-fi in general, discuss all things new and revealed about HP and generally have fun together.
With best regards,
Aivars "Aiva" Liepa
PS. I really hope your muse will come to you, and in right moment too.
