I AM RANTING

So... this is what it feels like to be on the receiving end of a flame. Heh. It feels really weird! And sad. And... a bit rage-worthy.

(And isn't it weird this happens after my happy post?)

I might be overreacting about this, I admit. I'll be defensive, even. I don't claim that "DH is the bestest fic in the world, go read it!!!!!111!!" It's just that this story is a very important part of my life. It had been therapeutic for me, even. I will not tolerate anyone belittling it without enough constructive reason. If it's bad, tell me how! I might end up thanking you one day. If it's sooo bad it's worth shooting yourself after reading it... my condolences. I'm sure you've lived a very fruitful life, anyway.

I'm sorry. I know receiving comments like "Blaise is a BOY, DUH!" is part of having written a story before his sex was determined, but that's what the disclaimer is for. If anyone hates reading this type of fics, then why are they in my fic's page?

Anyway, we know it was a big part of your life... we kept pushing you to update! hehe ;p So it is understandable to feel sad and angry. But just know that we find that flamer really stupid. DH is still one of our favorite fics, and we've read loads.

That's was fast :D I was my natural self = sarcastic. Hehe. Nah, scratch that... at the last minute I realized I didn't want to sink so close to he/she/its level, so I kept my barbs rather tame. To the point it's no longer barbs. *sigh*

I do wonder if he/she/it has written stuff... that'll be fun.

Anyway, you could never sink to his/her/it's level. You're too tall. (Kidding) We really do think the person's rather stupid for reading up to 5 chapters and flaming each one if he/she/it didn't enjoy it and meant to shoot him/her/itself afterward. Probably the person was having a really bad day, hehe.

Be very juvenile! I love being petty and responding to flamers. It's as fun as responding to plagiarists (which by the by I've had to do before - a few years ago when dmhgficexchange first started I participated, and then posted my story on ff.net. A while later a reviewer told me they'd read a very similar story and directed me to it. I discovered the idiot had stolen my story word for word and put a different title on it. So I threatened and belittled her intelligence in my review of her fic. Needless to say it was gone the next day *smirks*)

I wish I have someone plagiarize my work, because I think it's the highest amount of (a really pathetic) praise anyone can give me. Also, I'll have the right to be bitchy. Flamers just... make me doubt myself, and I hate that. *sigh*

At first I thought you were referring to Deathly Hallows. :p I LOVE DIVINE HUMILIATION! It's so funny, and Hermione isn't a wimp, and you were able to make dance lessons in fic engaging for the reader (often I skim through the dance/ball sections on fic because reading about dancing doesn't always make for great reading).

Exactly, I have no problem with people disliking or hating stuff I create, but it would help me so much if they could explain why, b/c then I can hopefully not make the same mistakes in the future.

My point exactly. If they find something wrong, it'll be eternally better to say it outright than moan and say mean things about it.

Anyway, the flame... Hahahha! When I received mine I was SO freaking pissed off because the flame is about YAOI! Can you believe it?! Hello, I WASN'T promoting anti-yaoi in my fic. Just coz I put a het pairing in the fic he/she/it flamed me because he/she/it liked yaoi. I even don't have anything against yaoi! Sheez, talk about alien weird. o_O

Again, I'm straying off the topic... >_<

But anyway, continue making great fics again... just to spite that freaking flame. Hahaha! :D

Just coz I put a het pairing in the fic he/she/it flamed me because he/she/it liked yaoi.

Now that I find extremely weird. Did she just happen to read every non-yaoi and flame them too just to promote her beloved yaoi????

From what I heard from my other friend from that same fandom (it's the Slamdunk anime... hehehe), she's really making enemies against NON-yaoi writers in the fandom. She's so crazy... you know what she wrote in her flame to me? She asked me like what was I thinking writing that fic... Was I imagining DAW that the SD boys would fall in love with me that's why I created a FEMALE original character for a het pairing?? Ang kapal ng mukha alam mo yun!! It was like... us, pro-het, are not allowed to write our own fics with no yaoi content, just coz we're writing Slamdunk. (which admittedly is testosterone-dominant but still...)

Hay naku dude. It still pisses me off whenever I think of that stupid flame. Hahahaha!

He/She/It had the audacity to use her pen name, and I respect him/her/it for that, and I found out that he/she/it has written some things. Which are far from being perfect! I wish I could give her a review, but alas, the stories bore me. Wahhahahha. I'll be mean, but - now wonder they don't have that much reviews XD

No, seriously, you're not overreacting. I don't know about replying, though, since sometimes those people just aren't worth talking to. :P DH is such an amazing fic, and that person was probably just seeking attention or trying to be different from everyone else.
