Of submissions and job hunting

I'm currently applying for two writing positions, one for a school newsletter thingy, the other for a business/economy newspaper. Geez. I'm jumping to another field - again! I've dabbled in banking and finance, education, proxy research and now... writing! Journalism! Wish me luck, because I reeeeaaaallly need a job right now. One that I would stay in for a long time. I'm old. I need a stable job!

Heh.

In other news, my fic for the exchange sucks. Because I haven't the faintest idea how to continue it. Because I've been writing angst for so long, I've forgotten how it was to write fluffy. Do I even write fluffi-ly? *sigh*

*hugs* Long time no see. Or hear... we keep thinking of texting you, but we're kind of busy these days.

Remember when we were first year and you were fourth year? And we'd be texting and you'd talk about how busy you were because of your thesis?

How's it going? It's not going. Complications keep coming up... we're cursed! :(( Hopefully things get better... Why oh why did we have to decide to formulate a shampoo? It's like we bit off more than we can chew. Like we dont have enough time...

We'll send our fic as soon as we read through it once again. :D It's been done for ages but we've never actually re-read it, hehe. We're not tooooo happy with it...

You can probably get those jobs. :D You!?! Hate to keep bringing this up, but cum laude of UP! hehe And you're an awesome writer. We'd even buy that business/economy newspaper to see your name in print! And then we'd read only your article and give the rest of the paper to our parents, haha.

Yeah I still watch, though I'm not paying too much attention to it. Once I find someone cute (Draco Potter!) I'll probabaly worship it again. So long as it's free of that blond girl whose name I have blissfully forgotten.

Haha, we're waiting for a Draco Potter too... :) We watch it but we're not that into it yet. We usually get more into it when the voting begins, when we have someone to cheer for. Now they just show lousy people.

Hey, did you see the intro to the very first show of the season? They showed how AI had changed the lives of people... Clay, Ruben, Fantasia, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie, Kellie Pickler (is the spelling right?), Chris and Katharine. Did we miss Taylor, or didn't they put him in? His album should be out already, right?

We're going to attempt to formulate a shampoo, hehe. Hopefully we have enough time. We wanted to test it on people, but our teacher said it's not ethical, so we have to test it on guinea pigs- eye irritation and skin irritation tests. A lot of people volunteered for testers though, hehe. Nothing should happen if you use it- but we won't have time for the full all out testing, hehe.

The plant that we use- it's a weed, actually, is really really common. All you have to do, really, is cut up the stems, soak them in water for a while and apply the water to your hair. We're just making it into a shampoo for commercial purposes. :D Daddy used the plant for a while, he said it was really effective. :)

What plant is that? All I think of is aloe vera...

Afgkhf. Why give me her name??? WHY??? And no I haven't watched that AI thing... well, my ate's sending stuff my way from America, and she said she bought me a Taylor CD. I can't wait!

Kat's really thin right now. Sheesh. Hollywood got into her really fast, didn't it?

It's called Balisanga here in the Pangasinan... but waaah, we can't do it anymore. Geez, imagine changing your thesis topic with about one month to go? Gah.

Anyway, let's not think about the T-word, haha.

Kat's bulemic. (Is that how it's spelled? Looks weird). Anyway, too lazy to correct the spelling. Her album should be out on Jan 30 in the US. :) Hopefully some songs are nice... we heard her first single and it's not our type. Well, we only listened to it once, but it lacks the power that made her voice so nice in AI.

Good luck! Don't think of it as being indecisive but as trying new things to cultivate a sense of fullness of identity. . . (spouting off garbage like that confuses people who may question your choices, be sure to walk away laughing maniacally). :-)

Haha! I always tell them, well, this is me being experimental and trying to look for my identity in a world where identity matters. Either that or tell them WHATEVER DOOD, BUTT OUT OF MY LIFE!:D
