I dunno but it wasn't fair! And because of the way it was filmed, are we meant to think that every single Elf (except Legolas) died there? If so, that is so not cool!
I didn't even think about it that way :\ But yes, considering there was no other elf during the celebration afterwards they were apparently wiped out, sob.
In other news, DDD is having a Disney theme park event! my brain is broken from thinking of how to fit our characters in there, considering our canon point :\
Yeah, these are the types of things I think about, ha.
Pfft, we can make it work! Because you and me? Must take our characters on the carousal. :D C'moooon, imagine Éomer getting cotton candy in his beard! And the two trying to beat each other in boardwalk type games. I'll have to go to the Disneyland website to see what they have, as I've never been.
Carousel! That has got to be the sweetest image ever ♥
I've only been to Disneyland in California a few times, and I've always loved the rides there - though I've never ridden the carousel, haha. Maaaybe we could take them from when Theodred's still hanging in there instead of dead so they won't be all emo-like?
That works for me! If you want, we could treat it as a thing that they forget about when they go home? From the sounds of it, the event is pretty much 'do your own thing' so there's not a strict set of rules.
I imagine our kids would be weird about it first, but then decide to just get on with it since they can't get home until the community decides to let them, and they know the weird stuff never lasts too long. I don't want them to be totally OOC on arriving, but it's pretty much all I can think of for dropping characters from their setting there and having them not freak out. Heh, this event isn't very Middle-earth friendly, but I don't want to miss out on it! ;)
Oh! I would love that, ngl. At least we won't have to deal with them feeling guilty about having fun while everything in Rohan is bleak and sad.
Lol, I imagine the two to be all weaponless upon arriving, and then Eomer like fashioning a spear out of ~something from Disneyland :P But yes. We can have them soften when they see children laughing about and having fun and people mistaking them for employees at Disney because they are attired so formally.
I've been giving it some thought, and we could work it out so that they forget the Disneyland park, but if they happen to form good CR w/ others (since I definitely want to tag around too), they can maybe remember the conversation, but think it was done through the network or something? Just in case the other character is like OH HAI! to them later?
If I'm thinking about this correctly, will this be a thing with everyone making their own posts, or is it one post with everyone threading in? If it's the former, we can do an OOC note saying they'll forget after the event, unless we want to keep the CR. Sound ok?
Ha, he'll steal a plastic sword from Pirates of the Caribbean or something.
I think everyone's going to be making their own posts, since it might be hard to keep everything in one thread. I could be wrong, though I'm fine with either way. And yes, keeping CR that way sounds awesome!
...They can steal a lot of things from shops, haha! And the food. Man. Candy and coffee and them high on sugar and caffeine. Think about it.
OMGGGG, rotting their teeth out with candy! Will Éowyn be sneaking into a shop to buy shorts and an I ♥ Disneyland t-shirt? ;) Her brother will be scandalized!

They could go around wearing Mickey Mouse ears, though :P And I pity the mascots that happen to appear their way.

Also, people screaming at rides. "Brother, there are people in distress - we have to help them!"
