Due to the large earthquake that hit Japan, our country is expected to be hit by tsunamis.

I am praying for the provinces and people that will be affected, as well as the people of Japan.

How far from the coast are you???

Quite far, thank goodness. Our province is smack in the middle of our island, and we're a bit far from any body of water.

I am hoping we won't be affected (I think we won't be) but still, prayers won't hurt.

I am going to the temple later when my bro gets out of school ... we will keep you in our thoughts :(

It was on the news just now that the waves had passed over Indonesia and the Philippines ... are you OK?

Yes! :D And much better news is that it seems our country was spared from any damages - which was what I was fearing. The Tsunami alert has been lifted, and I'm so glad ♥ Now I'm just praying for the people in Japan.

Yes, I am. Our province isn't included in the list of places with a tsunami alert, thank goodness. Still, the events are nerve-wracking :(

::hugs:: I'm *so* glad you're safe, but yeah, obviously I'm sad and scared about everyone at risk. This is terrible.

It is. I have two cousins in Japan and though they're alright, we still worry about them and everyone else.

This is just so heartbreaking. Who would've thought?
