serious question is serious.
First off: IT'S A BOY! I'm gonna have a nephew again :D :D :D My supposedly prophetic dreams have lied to me, sob.
ONTO THE QUESTION: I am a noob to social networking sites and mostly disinterested in them, which is why my Friendster and FB accounts had to be made for me by friends desperate that I get accounts and why they remain untouched for so long. kung nababasa mo to, sorry ka na lang at oo, tungkol sayo to. Now though, I keep hearing about Plurk and Tumblr, and I know some of you have accounts there and I was wondering, what are their advantages/disadvantages? Which is better? What should I actually expect if I get one? I am just really curious because it seems like everyone and their mother has one and, as usual, I am very late to the ~trend.

Plurk is cute for a while, with its quirky timeline...but it gets old and clumsy really fast. Some people who haven't used Twitter don't see its appeal, but believe me, it's quite useful. It's not just for 'what are you doing' stuff, but for answering questions, following the news, stuff like that. Because the tweets are updated really fast, you get instant replies from people you know.

Hmmm. Maybe one of these days I should try those, hehe :D
