Yep! Go-onBlacks's a girl this year! I also am very excited to see the other rangers whose genders got switched - like in Jetman, to be specific! It's odd to see Blue as a guy, and Yellow as a girl.

I wonder if that means the inevitable Gokai sixth will turn into Rio (or Mele!), or into the Spirit Rangers from Power Rangers Jungle Fury (since they're technically Toei-made outfits and they have a preference for using US stuff courtesy of Magi vs. Deka, I figure it's possible). I WANNA KNOW SO BAD

Also, regarding jii_san, what the hell. I felt like being a good Samaritan. Didn't get any more icons though.

The info I've been reading suggests that the sixth might be from the enemy's side turned good again? Let me see...

-Barizorg used to be Joe's friend when he was with Zangyaku, and his true form is a human body. He will become the 6th Gokaiger.

Well that doesn't surprise me in terms of plot (the writer for Gokaiger previously did Kuuga, Deka, and Aba, so), though the current rumors also say Joe was an enemy who turned good pre-show, so I don't know if #6 will be evil when he shows up or not. That said, obviously usage of Dragonranger and Abarekiller would fit in well with that, and that makes a transformation into Rio make more sense than using the Spirit Ranger outfits, even if Rio was only really a good guy for, like, 2 eps.

But man, I really wanna see the Sentai use the Spirit Ranger getups. :(

I think he'll be evil, but eh, who knows. And the Spirit Rangers! See, that's the thing with replying at 1 AM - I totally glossed over the Spirit Rangers, and yeah they will be awesome. How often does PR give us totally original rangers? Not often, and it'll be a shame to not exploit that!

Kind of hoping they pull out the Titanium Ranger too if they go for the Spirit Rangers, but the chances are probably much slimmer on that one.
