Honestly, the one that made me maddest? Was Beryl/Jadeite. The point of their final scene (which made me ship it sohard) was that he chose, for himself, with no influences, that he wanted her.

...and then when everything's brought back it's all MASTER MASTER MASTER. There should have been conflict! At the least he should have missed Beryl still! Argh.

At least there could have been something in the special act. A scene where Kunz does something to help Merc in a fight maybe (because I don't think there'd be shipping then and I don't think he'd be all OHNOES GUILT but I think he would regret what he did to her) or where she gets a moment with Neph (maybe at the wedding?) or where Jade has a moment or two of coming to terms with Beryl being gone. SOMETHING! Why did all the ship hints except Makoto/Motoki disappear? T__T

Hey, it'll be okay. ♥ To be honest I think Maya did some freaky Fangire magic on him anyway, because he acted the same way Otoya acts around her (and he didn't even understand why he was following her... it was just very odd behaviour). But anyway, with this I think he can move on to pursue Megumi properly. :D

I adore her, but I do think she has some kind of weird ability to put men under her spell. It's not just Nago. Otoya acts very out-of-character around her. I mean, we've seen him hit on women a lot and he's never talked to them or looked at them quite so reverently as he does with Maya. There's the Fangire who considers her his muse too.

Which I did notice in this ep - I mean, Otoya loves Yuri and all but suddenly his eyes were on Maya only - and he was sooo quiet, instead of his loud self! Weird. Maybe this power of hers stems from being the Queen? Like it has effects on Fangires but more so on humans.

Although, in case of Mio maybe hers aren't fully awakened yet, which is why we can see that Nago and the guys she worked for aren't in love with her. Awwww I do think Wataru's feelings for her (as well as Kengo's) are real :D

I do too, as of right now. :D Wataru doesn't act as... well, drugged around Mio as Otoya and Nago act around Maya.
