I'm afraid I'm pretty stuck in my Charmed pairings. I think it'd be different if I was involved in the fandom side of it - which I've never been.

I too am fond of unconventional (or non-canon) pairings. Most of the time it's because say, Buffy/Spike - they were better (as characters and as possible together-ness) when they weren't having sex with each other. Turning them canon kinda ruined the whole thing a bit. I mean, sure, we got to see James half naked a lot, but still.
