Fact: Did you know that when Eowyn was originally written, she was supposed to be Aragorn's love interest? And that she would die in battle, and after her, Aragorn would have chosen to never marry or love, or something along those lines? It was later that Tolkien created Arwen, and the whole thing became what we have today. Not that I'm complaining, because I love Faramir/Eowyn to pieces, but it was interesting to know that.
I never really shipped the idea of Aragorn/Eowyn, mostly because I'm rarely into a pairing where the girl likes the guy but it's not reciprocated. I like Aragorn, of course, and how his heart belongs to Arwen alone, and maybe that also had a part in me not shipping him with someone else.
